Frequently Asked Questions
We accept cash, check, or credit card. We encourage you to keep a card on file to allow for easy payment processing. Your information will be kept confidential.
If your insurance is listed above, we will file your claims for you.
Most insurance plans require you to make a copay or deductible payment. Payment for your copay or deductible is due at the time of service.
We recommend calling the number on the back of your card and inquiring to see if your deductible has been met for mental health services. Once you provide your policy number, they should be able to answer your questions. In some cases, your deductible status is not definite, and you will be required to pay the deductible amount until a determination is complete. You will be promptly refunded in the event you overpay.
When using insurance, our session fees are based on our contracts with insurance companies and Medicare. Therefore, they will vary depending on your insurance plan. If you call the number listed on the back of your card, your insurance provider should be able to give you a sense of costs for mental health services. If you are not using insurance or if we are out of network with your insurance, you can receive services as a private-pay client (see rates at top of page).
We totally understand and realize it may feel like a stretch to invest in your relationship in this way. We will say this: we would never, ever be in the marriage we are in today (or even close) if we hadn’t invested in it — with significant time, money, and energy. Relationships are like most things in life: the more you put in, the more you will get out. Growing, healing, and nurturing your relationship is so, so worth it, and there is simply no replacement for it. Plus, the cost of not growing your relationship is probably a whole lot greater.
